It is with great sadness the family of Jean-Pierre Frenette of Big River announces his passing which occurred on Monday April 8, 2019, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, at the age of 58, with his family at his side following a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Beresford, he was the son Leda Frenette and the late Jacques Frenette.
He worked at Brunswick mine for 33 years.
He leaves behind his life partner of 23 years, Sandra Roy.
One son, Remi Frenette of Beresford.
Three brothers: Guy Frenette (Murielle) of Beresford, Rene Frenette (Suzanne) of Petit-Rocher and Eric Frenette of Summerside, P.E.I.
His special aunt, Micheline Frenette.
Many nieces and nephews and four special great-nieces.
The family would like to thank Dr. Marc-André Doucet, Dr. Violette, and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Extramural Program and Mallet Home care.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday April 13, 2019 from Holy Rosary Church, St. Peter Avenue.
