It is with profound sadness and in appreciation of a life well lived, that we the family announce the death of Mrs. Wilma "Billie" Hanley, which occurred Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 89, with her husband Bud and daughter by her side.
Born in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of the late George and Martina (Monzallo) Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Bud of Bathurst and one daughter, Judy London (Paul) of Saint John.
One brother, Earl Williams of Dalhousie.
Two brother—in-law: Bob Hanley (Diane) and Fred Hanley (Marilyn). One sister-in-law, Marjorie Flann.
Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by an infant daughter, Jody, two grandchildren, Buddy, Rocky and two brothers: Jr. and Linden.
She was a member of the NBTel Pioneers Association, enjoyed gardening, going to the gym and was a member of the Gowan Brae Golf Club.
At her request, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held from the Highland View Cemetery at a date and time to be announced. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital and Dr. Larocque for the care and compassion given to Billie during her illness.
