The death of Jeannine Doucet, 75, of Palmer Dr., Bathurst, wife of William J. Doucet, occurred Wednesday (July 6, 2005) at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Donat and Agnes (Frenette) DeGrasse. She had been employed with Employment Insurance Canada from 1976 to 1988. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her husband; Two sons: Ron Doucet (Vicky) of Bathurst Bernard Doucet (Jasmine) of Beresford Two daughters: Rachelle Chiasson (late Gerald) of Beresford Anne Louise Frenette (Jean-Claude) of Bathurst Three granddaughters: Sonia, Wendy and Christina. Five sisters: Cecile DeGrasse, Regina Boudreau (late Lawrence), Louise Heckbert (Paul), and Alice Sullivan (Austin), all of Bathurst Denise Hachey (late George) of Sudbury, ON One brother: Charles DeGrasse (Jeannine) of Bathurst Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister: Clarisse DeGrasse. Following cremation, the family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst, (www.elhatton.com) on Friday (July 8, 2005) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (July 9, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
