Mrs. Margaret Anderson, RN, of St. John St., Bathurst, wife of the late Lawrence Anderson, died Monday (September 15, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in South Nelson, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Flora (Hubbard) Nixon.
Mrs. Margaret Anderson was a 1934 graduate of the Dunn Hospital School of Nursing in Bathurst where she pursued her career in nursing until her retirement in 1976. She was also a 60-year member of the Sacred Heart CWL, and served in many offices of the Hospital Auxiliary.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lawrence 'Larry' Anderson.

She was pre-deceased by a brother, Harry, and a sister, Lillian.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (September 19th, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the United Cemetery, St. Anne St., Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
