Salmon Beach – It is with great sadness the family of Joyce Betty Ann Lavigne, wife of the late Arnold Lavigne announce her passing which occurred at her residence on Tuesday July 19th, 2022 at the age of 78.
Born in Toronto she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Jessie (Mitchell) King.
She is survived by her daughter, Corrina Lavigne of Salmon Beach, NB and two sons: Kevin Lavigne (Michelle) of Courtice, ON and Steven Lavigne (Krystle Smith) of Salmon Beach, NB. She also leaves behind her greatest treasures, five grandchildren: Laura Lavigne, Nathalie Lavigne, Reece Nauss, Leslie Lavigne and Claire Lavigne.
Siblings: David King (Allison) of Toronto, ON., Joanne Briggs (Rick) of New Market, ON, Gloria LaLonde (Greg) of Scarborough, ON, Carol Little of Scarborough, ON and Cathy King (late Dave Winnington) of Fenelon Falls, ON.
A sister-in-law: Frances King of Salmon Beach, NB.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings: Lorne "Butchie", Marion Kirby, Shirley Maroney, Lorna Cook and Donald King.
Joyce spent her early years as a homemaker raising her three children and being a loving wife to her husband. Later in life she decided to take the workforce by storm and took a position at McDonald’s in Bathurst where she worked for 25 years and left a special imprint on her coworkers and made many friends.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10 – 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, at Spruce Grove Union Cemetery, Bridge St, all are welcome to attend.
