Janeville - Mrs. Georgina Smith, 78, wife of the late Robert Elvy Smith, of Janeville, passed away Tuesday (December 6, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Vera (Peters) Ellis. She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Vera Hachey (Louis) of Salmon Beach 1 Grandson, Robbie. Four sisters: Ina O'Neil of Janeville, NB Charlotte Babineau of Chicago, IL Ivy Ellis of Canobie Pansy Ellis of Canobie Three brothers: James Ellis (Lillian) of Stonehaven George Ellis (Opal) of Janeville Truman Ellis of Janeville Many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by an infant son, sister, Lucy McGaugh and a brother Ivan. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning (December 8, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel.
