It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our loving mother Adrienne Hachey, wife of the late Cyrille Hachey, which occurred at her residence on Monday, May 1st, 2023, at the age of 86.
Born in Bathurst she was the daughter to the late Alfred and Mélina (LaPlante) Thériault.
She leaves behind her two children: Richard (Annette) Hachey of Dunlop and Denis (Anita) Hachey of Robertville.
Grandchildren: Vanessa Hachey (Jean-Robert), Marissa Hachey (Philippe), Julie Hachey (Stephane), Melanie Carrier (Mathieu), Monica Hachey (Miguel) and Lise Hachey (Ludger).
Great-grandchildren: Dominic, Daphnée, Arielle, Zachary, Alexandre, Damien and Vienna.
Two sisters: Theresa (Roy) Stever of Moncton and Julie Anne (Marcel) Goyette of Bathurst as well as several nieces, nephews and daughter-in-law, Theresa Carrier of Nigadoo.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three sons: Robert, Andre and David, two granddaughters: Dionne and Erika and two brothers: Gérard (late Emma) and Adrien.
Adrienne had a passion for music, she was a member of “Friends In Song” as well as a long-time choir member for the Holy Family church. She loved playing cards, bowling and eating lobster, but her pride and joy was her family.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, at 2p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Chapel.
Donations in memory of Adrienne may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
