Bathurst - Mrs. Mildred Ann Chiasson, 60, of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, passed away on peacefully on Wednesday (January 25, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a 17 year battle with cancer. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Mildred Hadley and the late John Chamberlain. She will be sadly missed by her special friend Ronnie Lavigne and her first husband Gordon Chiasson. One daughter: Donna Bryar (Denis) of Bathurst Three sons: John Gordon Chiasson (Lauza) and Randy Chiasson (Carmel) both of Bathurst Brian Chiasson of BC Two sisters: Lorena Miller of Fredericton Shirley Palocq (Eudore) of Bathurst Four brothers: Gordon Chamberlain (Jeannine), Francis Chamberlain (Angela), Lee Chamberlain and Fred Chamberlain, all of Bathurst She was a special grandma to Julie, Gordon, Colleen and Peter. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (January 27, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in the spring.
