It is with great sadness, that we, the family announce the passing of Mr. Thomas Thériault, husband of Lucille Thériault, of Bathurst which occurred at his residence on Monday December 11th, 2023, at the age of 88. Born in Haut-Caraquet, he was the son of the late Terrance Theriault and the late Agathe Chiasson. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughters: Bernice (Michael), Louise (Ulrick), Lisa (Mike), Joanne and Isabelle (Georges); his grandchildren which he adored: Martin and Janick. He also leaves to morn, his brothers, and sisters: Armand (late Imelda), Eudore (Alexina), Wilfred (Claire), Théo (Ella), Anna (Peter), Thérèse (late Zoël) and Aline; as well as many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers: Gérard, Léonce, Donat, Archil and Adelbert. Thomas worked at Lounsbury’s store for 28 years. His greatest passion was working in his garden and enjoyed hunting and fishing. As per his wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 22, 2023, at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Avenue in Bathurst. As a gesture of sympathy, a donation to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
