Robertville - Gerald Frenette, 81, of Robertville, passed away on Saturday (March 11, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Frank and Christianne (Cormier) Frenette. He is survived by his wife, Stella (Lavigne) Frenette. Seven sons: Oscar Frenette (Lise Bélanger) of Ottawa Alyre Frenette (Imelda) of Tremblay Jacques Frenette of Quebec, Que. Mario Frenette of Halifax, NS Michel Frenette (Laurence Arseneault) of Gatineau, Que. Yvon Frenette of Montreal, Que. Louis Frenette (Gisèle Boulet) of Gatineau, Que. Six daughters: Thérèse Frenette (Jean-Claude Haché) of Petit-Rocher Carmelle Frenette (Marc Haché) of Robertville Colette Cormier (Victor) of Nigadoo Denise Godin (Roger) of Petit-Rocher Chantal Frenette (Serge Emond) of Pointe-Verte, NB Yvette Frenette (Guy Roussel) of Gatineau, Que. Two brothers: Armand Frenette (Rose) of Sorel, Que. Roger Frenette (Cécile) of Ottawa, ON Four sisters: Gabrielle Landry (Roland) of Beresford Hectorine Cloutier (Rosaire)of Gatineau,Que. Léa Gaudet of Manitoba Lina Boudreau of Welland, ON Thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son, Gilles, two sisters, Edwidge and Simonne. The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (March 15, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from Eglise Ste Thérèse, Robertville. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
