Bathurst – It is with great sadness that we the family, announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Micheline Grant-Frenette, wife of Claude Frenette, of Bathurst, which occurred Friday February 9, 2024, at her residence.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Marc and Geneva (Frenette) Grant.

She worked as a legal secretary until her retirement.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Marc Firlotte (Debbie) of Dunlop.

One stepson, Derek Roy (Jing) of Bathurst.

Five grandchildren: Amanda, Sarah, Dominic (Kieva), Selena, Jackson and two great-grandchildren: Keenan and Iona.

One brother, Tony Grant of Quebec City.

One sister, Leda Frenette of Beresford.

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Donations in memory of Micheline can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
