It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Leo Lecouter of Big River which occurred on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the age of 80.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Lawrence Lecouter and Zelica Laroque.

He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Lecouter of Riverview, son Larry Lecouter of Dieppe.

The mother of his children, Lillian David of Beresford.

Leo is also survived by his sister Ola LaMothe of Val d’Or, QC and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by brothers Alphonse, Donat and Alvin and sisters Mayda, Martha, Edwinda, Yvonne and Martina.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.

Donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
