Beresford - Marcel Gallant, 73, Beresford, passed away on Wednesday (April 5, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Atholville NB, he was the son of the late Raymond Gallant and the late Anna Arseneault. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Mariette (Boucher) Gallant in 2004. He is survived by: 1 Son: Gilles Gallant of Thunder Bay, ON 5 Daughters: Claire Thériault (Gaetan) of Grand Sault, NB Diane Gallant (Serge Mazerolle) of Moncton Noella McFarling (Mike) of Manitouwadge,ON Gisèle Boudreau (Kenneth) of Beresford Lise Gallant (Maurice Roy) of Moncton 4 sisters, Anne-Marie Landry (Fidèle) of Pointe-à-la-Croix, QC Thérèse Doucet (late Ronald) of Campbellton Marie-Anne Rose of Bathurst Ginette Gallant (Will Roy) of Dalhousie 4 Grandchildren; Louise, Paul, Patrick, Chantal, 1 great-grandchildren; Josée, Martina and Tyler; several nieces and nephews. A granddaughter Gaetanne, a brother Fernand and a sister Imelda pre-deceased him. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (April 8 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise St. Nom de Jesus), Beresford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
