Arismond Chiasson, 74, of Ste Anne, Glou. Co., passed away on April 11, 2006 at the George L Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born in St Isidore, NB, he was the son of the late Joe Chiasson and the late Josephine Duguay. He is survived by his wife Beatrice Roy of Bathurst, NB 7 daughters; Yolande Gauthier, Suzanne Chiasson, Denise Chiasson, Jacqueline Chiasson, Aline Hembuch and Irene Chiasson all of Simco, Ont., Linda Chiasson of Brantford, Ont. 1 son; Arismond Junior Chiasson of Beresford, NB 5 stepchildren; Jean Paul Bernier of Moncton, NB Jacqueline Girouard of Petawawa, ON Albert Bernier of Bathurst, NB Tony Bernier of ON, and Mary Anne Lavigne of Halifax , NS Also 7 siblings; Leonard Chiasson of Tracadie NB Alcide Chiasson of Ottawa, ON Adelard Chiasson of Bathurst, NB Clemantine Noel of Bathurst, NB Simone Crookshank of Brantford, ON Geraldine Chiasson of Bathurst, NB, and Noela Boucher of Montreal, Que. Arismond leaves behind several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Over the years he was very involved in his community and served as President and supporter of the St Anne Recreational center over a period of 35 years. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Family Church at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2006.
