Bathurst - Armand Roy, 67, husband of Evangeline Roy, of Sycamore Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Friday (April 14, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a battle against Cancer. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Edouard 'Edgar' and Catherine (Doucet) Roy. He worked as a fabricator at the former SMI Company. Besides his wife, Evangeline (Landry) Roy, he is survived by: One daughter: Nicole Cromarty (Brian) of Yardley, PA, USA One brother: Sylvio Roy (Norma) of Stouffeville, ON One sister: Alina Landry of Milton, ON One grandson, Jonathan Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Lionel Roy. The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Sunday evening only from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (April 17, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
