Bathurst – It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our mother, Mrs. Jacqueline (Boudreau) Murphy, wife of the late John Murphy, which occurred on Monday August 5th, 2024, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 93 and 8 months.

Born in Grande-Anse, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Flora (Cormier) Boudreau.

She is survived by four children: Maureen Murphy (Vincent Arcobelli), Patsy Doiron (Paul), Dave and

Paul (Gisèle Thériault).

Five grandchildren: Patrick, Jennifer, Donna, David and Shawn and five great-grandchildren: Molly, Jesse, Josh, Joey and Bianca.

One sister, Denise Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Gary, one brother and several sisters.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the care given to Jacqueline.
