Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Dumaresq, of Palmer Dr., Bathurst, which occurred Tuesday August 6, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 78.

Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Elseleita (Main) Harris.

Betty worked in retail for most of her life.

She is survived by two children: Perry Dumaresq of British Columbia and Pamela Kelly (Jason) of Bathurst.

One granddaughter, Lauren.

One sister, Grace Main of Robinsonville. Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by two siblings: Verna and Blair.

By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
