It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannine (Roy) Chamberlain, born in Bathurst New Brunswick, she passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Chamberlain.

Jeannine is survived by her two sons, Richard (Tammy) and Michael (Kim) of Bathurst, her cherished grandchildren: Megan, Jennifer, and Kody, and her great-grandchildren: Wrenley and Jace. She was the devoted daughter of the late Ethel Babineau and Gerard Roy and leaves behind her sister, Shirley (Fred). She was predeceased by her sister Anita.

Jeannine had a heart full of love and a passion for life. She was a dedicated bingo player, sharing countless games with her granddaughter Megan, and an avid yard sale enthusiast. Her love of nature was evident in the care she took to feed the animals near her home, from birds to raccoons and squirrels.

Her greatest joy was her family, whom she adored beyond measure. Jeannine will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her ability to bring joy to all those around her.

Jeannine will be dearly missed by us all.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bathurst, NB.
