Bathurst – It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Barbara Jabora-Scott, of St. Patrick St., Bathurst, which occurred Sunday October 27, 2024, at the age of 77.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Josephine (Assaff) Jabora, and sister to the late Sandra Lee Jabora.

She is survived by her son Anthony Jabora-Scott, daughter and son-in-law Johanna (Jabora-Scott) and Michael MacMullin, and dearest granddaughter, Alexandrea MacMullin.

Barbara was a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at St. Francis Xavier University as well as the Hotel Dieu Nursing program. She went on to be a nursing instructor for the Hotel Dieu and Bathurst Nursing School. She enjoyed fulfilling her duties as VON charge nurse in Sackville, New Brunswick and enjoyed teaching future caregivers at CCNB. In earlier years, she was a proud member of the Catholic Women's League and active member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral congregation.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) after 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, from where the funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
