Bathurst – Ronald Gauthier, of Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday October 29, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 56.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Aldin and Dorothy (Pitre) Gauthier.

He is survived by four sisters: Ginette Gauthier, Juliette Caissie (Maurice), Stephanie Pitre (Remi) all of Bathurst and Chantal Lagacy (Guy) of Petit-Rocher.

Four brothers: Edward Gauthier of Middle River, his twin, Raymond Gauthier (Mireille) of Robertville, Remi Chiasson (Kelly) and Eric Legacy both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Lawrence, Chesley and six sisters: Macrina, Diane, Yvette, Lynn, Patsy and Monique.

The family would like to thank the 5th floor west of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the excellent care given to Ronald during his stay.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday November 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Ronald can be made to the Shriner’s’ Hospital for Sick Children or a favorite charity.
