Auguste Dumas, 86 and 11 months, formerly of the Villa Chaleur, Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (April 29, 2006) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in St. Moise, Que., he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie Anne (Marin) Dumas.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Arseneault in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Emilia Roy of Bathurst
Two sons:
Jean-Claude Dumas (Huguette) of Petit-Rocher, NB
Moise Dumas (Jeannine Charron) of Fredericton
One daughter:
Andréa Boudreau (late Eugene) of Bathurst
One brother:
Roland Dumas (late Annette LeBlonc) of Mont Jolie, Que.
Two sisters:
Irene Verreault (late Jean Baptist) and
Adrienne Charest (late Antoine) of Rimouski, Que.
One sister-in-law:
Marie Maillet (Rosario) of Moncton
7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his brother Francois.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (May 3, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
