Beresford - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas “Tom, Tommy” Sirois of Beresford who passed away on November 27th at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 61.
Thomas is survived by his wife, the love of his life for the last 40 years Nancy Sirois (Chamberlain) of Beresford, his two children Madison Sirois (Brodie Couture), Nathan Sirois (Brittany), and one grand daughter; Poppy’s little princess Lily Sirois.
His brother Norman Sirois (Sylvie Sivret) of Madran, Laurie Anne Clayton of Colorado, Margie Baldwin (Joey) of Florida, Susan Sirois of Beresford and Barbie Doucet (Ron) of Bathurst, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Della Sirois of Bathurst.
Tom was a family man who loved spending time with his family doing activities such as camping and fishing at Mount Carleton and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Tom was a member of The Point Church in Bathurst. A man of great faith that never waivered during his illness. Tom might be known by the community as the owner along side his wife Nancy Sirois of TNS Custom Blinds
As per his wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral will take place at The Point Church in Bathurst on Saturday, December 7th at 11:00am and will be officiated by Rev. Brent Steeves. It would be a great honor to Tom, if any donations be made in his memory that they be made to the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada (https://www.fpwr.ca/donate) in honor of his grand daughter Lily.
