Mrs. Anastasia “Mini” Boucher, 97 and 8 months, wife of the late Willard Boucher, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, died Friday (June 6, 2003) at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Georges and Marguerite (Lagacé) Doucet.
She owned and operated the former “Mini's Grocery” on Rough Waters Dr.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Willard.
She is survived by her only son Edgar W. Boucher (Marie-Louise) of Bathurst
2 grandchildren; Michel and René
3 Sisters:Hectorine Lavigne and Exilda Boucher (Gérald) both of Bathurst, Ethel Chiasson of Minto
Her extended family, Edith Luce, Eugenie MacAulay and Anne-Marie Young, who toke such good care of her over the last several years.
She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers and 10 sisters.
The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (June 9, 2003) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Mont Carmel), Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, St. Mary's Ave.
