Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald C Arseneau, which occurred at his residence with his family present on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at the age of 68, following a brief illness.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Marie (Boucher) Arseneau and the late Cletus Arseneau.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving wife: Elizabeth (Roy) Arseneau, his 2 sons: Dominic Arseneau (Marsha), Mathieu Arseneau (Nathalie), four grandchildren: Mariane, Félix, Francis, and Sandrine Arseneau. He is also survived by his brother Glenn Arseneau (Catherine), many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

We will always remember Donald as a loving and patient husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. Donald was a lawyer and a court clerk at the Bathurst Court House. He touched many lives and will always be in our thoughts as a gentle and caring man.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 7-9 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, December 30th, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Donald may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
