Bathurst - It is with deep sorrow that we the family, announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, auntie, and friend to many, Suzanne Caron of Bathurst, which occurred Wednesday December 18, 2024.

Suzanne was the daughter of the late Eva (LeJeune) Guitard and Cleophas Guitard.

She is survived by her daughters Melanie Sue Caron and Vanessa Anne Caron, husband Michael Caron, and living siblings Therese (Guitard) Dumont and spouse Jean-Yves, Ferdinand Guitard and spouse Pamela (Miller) Guitard and Charlotte Guitard.

She is survived by sisters in law Pamela (Ferdinand) Guitard, Pauline (Caron) Chapman, Lucille (Caron) Lapierre, and Rollande Lacroix, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends far and wide.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her siblings: Adrienne (Guitard) Haggerty, Violette Guitard, Marie Guitard, Geraldine (Guitard) Couture, Jean-Marc Guitard, Evangeliste Guitard, Cleophas Jr Guitard, Sylvio Guitard and Francois Guitard. She also followed her deceased nephews and nieces Keith Guitard, Tanya Couture, and Audrey Guitard.

She will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh, and an incredible zest for life. She was one of a kind, with an enormously kind heart. But she was also one tough little cookie, battling many health ailments with courage, strength, and perseverance. While she left us much sooner than we’d wished, we are grateful that we got to share the years we did with her, as our beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, auntie, and friend. We will miss you immensely Suzanne Caron.

There will be no visitations or funeral service.
