Bathurst - Mrs. Corinne Leger, 82, wife of the late Ernest Leger, formerly of North Tetagouche, passed peacefully on Sunday (May 7, 2006) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late David and Clara (Hachey) Lavigne. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women's League. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ernest Leger in 1996. She is survived by: Six brothers: Ben Lavigne (Lorine) of Moncton Aurele Lavigne (Loretta) of Moncton Arthur Lavigne of North Tetagouche Norman Lavigne (Jeanette) of Moncton John Lavigne (Cathy) of Fredericton Edgar Lavigne (Lil) of Bathurst Two sisters: Cecile Young (late Vernon) of Bathurst Rita Legacy (late Lawrence) of Ste Anne, Glou. Co., NB Many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Henry in 2005. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (May 11, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, with a reception to follow in the parish hall.
