Clarence Bertin, 74, of Beresford, passed away on Wednesday (May 17, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Beresford, the 2nd May, 1932, he was the son of the late Alexandre and Lorina (Arseneau) Bertin.

Yvon (Kathy) Bertin of Kingston, ON
Marc (Claire) Bertin of Rimouski, Que.
Four grandchildren; Joshua, Jessica, Jéremie and Olivier.
Two brothers:
Angus (Lina) Bertin and
Rhéal (Léona) Bertin both of Beresford.
He was pre-deceased by 2 brothers; Léonard, Raymond, 3 sisters; Evelyne, Doris and Florence.
Clarence worked as a plumber at Brunswick Mines and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club and the United Steel Workers of America. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Beresford and former member of the U.C.T.
The body rested at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday afternoon (May 19, 2006) at 4:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus church, Beresford. Burial was in the parish cemetery
