Beresford - Amedée Comeau, 68, of Beresford, passed away on Tuesday (June 6, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Emile and Alice (Boudreau) Comeau.
He worked for over 33 years at Brunswick Mines and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club.

Alyre Comeau of Petit-Rocher, NB
Armand 'Miket' Comeau (Edna Russell) of Belledune, NB
Normand Comeau (Catherine) of Chateauguay, Que.

Nine grandchildren; Jonathan, Kevin, Brian, Chloé, Marie-Joëlle, Myriam, Maryse, Luce and Sébastien.
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a brother; Paul-Emile.
The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), 270 rue Centre, Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday evening (June 8, 2006) at 7:00 p.m. from Eglise St. Nom de Jesus, Beresford. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
