Canobie - Mrs. Marion Glendenning, 84, wife of the late Gordon Glendenning, of Canobie, passed away on Friday (June 23, 2006), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Stonehaven, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Florence (Smith) Daley.
She served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Women's Army Corps in Canada. She was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst and it's Ladies Auxilary. She was a member of the Women's Institute and the Canobie Community Club.
Her husband, Gordon Glendenning, died in 1978.

Lois Hills (Charles) of Bathurst
One grandson; Darryl.
Many nieces and nephews.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday (June 26, 2006) at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (June 27, 2006) at 2:00 p.m. from the Central United Church, Clifton, with Rev. David Eagles officiating. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Burial will be in the Stonehaven Cemetery. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Arthritis Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
