Bathurst - Donat Hachey, 76, husband of Thérèse (Berthelotte) Hachey, of St. Anne St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (July 19, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Trudel, he was the son of the late Dosithée and Suzanne (Haché) Hachey. He worked at Noranda Exploration for over 30 years. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his wife, he is survived by: Two daughters: Anne Louise Oxner (John) of Fredericton Agathe Duguay (Gaston) of Bathurst One granddaughter; Chantal Several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (22 July, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
