Bathurst - Gilbert Roy, 80, of Golf St., Bathurst and formerly of Salmon Beach, which occurred Friday (July 28, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Pointe Verte, he was the son of the late Alfred and Lorette (Fournier) Roy.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Florence (Munday) Roy.

The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (August 1, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral. Burial will be in parish cemetery.
