Bathurst - Mrs. Marion "Mattie" O'Toole, 85, wife of the late Edward O'Toole, passed away on Friday (September 1, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late John Stafford and Mary Elizabeth (Keating) Dunn. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women's League, Bathurst and the Lady's Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward, in 1983. She is survived by: One son: Danny O'Toole (Debbie) of Bathurst One daughter: Marie Roy (Jack) of Bathurst One brother: David Dunn of Bathurst One sister: Katheleen Wood of Campbellton, NB 4 grandchildren; Bailey, Mason, Tyson and Kailan. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (September 6, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
