Claudette Joncas, 69, of Sunset Blvd., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (December 2, 2006) at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness.
Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of late Emanuel and Lena (Guitard) Joncas.
She was a volunteer at the Chaleur Regional Hospital and was a member of the Lady's Auxillary of the Royal Canadian Legion in Jacquet River. She was a long standing member of the St. Gabriel’s Church choir and was a member of the St. Gabriel’s Catholic Women’s League.

11 grandchildren, many nieces & nephews and abundant friends.
The remains will rest after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday (December 5, 2005) at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.(December 7, 2006) from the Evangel Pentecostal Church, Basin St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Gabriels Cemetery, Jacquet River. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
