Beresford … Rodrigue Duguay, 73, of Beresford, passed away on Saturday (December 23, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a short illness.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Edmund and Lydia (Hachey) Duguay.
He was retired from Brunswick Mining. He was a founding members of the Beresford Sports Association and a member of it’s Hall of Fame. Member of the Beresford Club de l’age d’Or, Honorary member of the Beresford Voluntary Fire Fighters. Rodrigue was very active in his community as a volunteer and participant.

Lilianne Arseneau (Gérald) of Petit-Rocher
7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by an infant daughter; Louise, and a brother Alvin.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (December 27, 2006) at 4:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church, Beresford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
