Mrs. Margaret Rose (Doucet) Furlotte, 65, wife of John "Jack" Furlotte, of Bathurst, passed away Sunday (January 7, 2007) at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Bathurst on December 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Burman and Evangeline (Robichaud) Doucet.
She was employed as an accounts manager by Household Finance for 26 years before she completed her working career at the Carpet Ranch her last 7 working years before her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed many happy years of retirement with her husband Jack, involved with many activities including golf (member of Squire Green Golf Club), dancing, bowling, swimming, to name but a few. She thoroughly enjoyed her 14 winters as a snowbird in Florida but also took great pleasure planting flowers and swimming in her backyard with her grandchildren.

The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (January 11, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and d7 to 9 and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
