David D. Dunn, 81, of Vantassel St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (January 6, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late John Stafford and Mary Elizabeth (Keating) Dunn.
He worked for C.N.R. for over 42 years.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Evelyn (Stever) Dunn in 1987.
He is survived by:
Four sons:
John (Ethel),
Charles,
Robert "Bob" (Mary Jane) and
George, all of Bathurst
Three daughters:
Irene "LuLu" Babin (Raymond),
Margaret Fisher (Carl) and
Dee Dee Stever (Bryan), all of Bathurst
One sister:
Kathleen Wood of Campbellton
12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a son; Timmy, brothers; Bill, Jack, Bud, Frank, sisters; Dorothy, Mattie, Pat and Margaret.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (January 9, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst.
