Bathurst- Mrs. Odette Savoie, wife of Andy Savoie of Stacy Mill Cres., Bathurst, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday 3rd December, 2003 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst after waging a courageous battle with M.S. for 30 years, she was 60 years of age.
Born in Mont-Joli, QC, she was the daughter of the late Armand Tremblay and the late Marie-Ange (LePage) Tremblay.
Mrs. Odette Savoie was a graduate of the Campbellton School of Nursing as a R.N.A. in 1961 and worked at the former Hotel Dieu Hospital and at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst until her illness forced her to retire in 1976. She was a member of the Bathurst U.C.T.
She is survived by her husband Andy Savoie of Bathurst

She will be sadly missed by her entire family. The family would like to thank Dr. Louis Ducharme and all the staff at the 4th floor east for the excellent care she received.
Visitations were from Elhatton Funeral Home in Bathurst. Funeral mass was held from Holy Family Church, St.Peter Ave., Bathurst on Saturday 6th December at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Quebec. Donations to the M.S. Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home.
