Charles Daigle, 85, of North Tetagouche and formerly of St. Peter Ave., passed away on Sunday (March 11, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late James and Louise (Boudreau) Daigle.
He was a self-employed trucker until his retirement.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
His beloved wife, the former Leonile Boudreau, passed away in 1998.

Nicole Langlois (Rémi) of North Tetagouche
18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews. 2 sister-in-law; Eva Daigle and Annabelle Daigle.
He was pre-deceased by brothers; Gordon, Edgar, Aurèle, John, Gérald and sisters; Evelyne, May and Melda.
The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (March 14, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
