Bathurst - Ralph Doucet, 75, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes and formerly of Coffin Cres., Bathurst, died Saturday (December 6, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Frank P. and Anna (Mazerolle) Doucet.
He served with the Royal Canadian Navy for 5 years during peacetime and was a member of the Herman J. Good, VC Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. He belonged to U.A. Local 512 Pipe-Fitters Union.

The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (December 10, 2003) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cathedral Cemetery, King Ave., in the spring.
