Imelda Dugas, formerly of Bathurst, wife of the late Omer Dugas, passed away at the age of 91 on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the CHSLD Ste-Dorothée in Laval. Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Marie-Anne (Landry) Roy.
She is survived by three daughters: Thérèse (Denis Bélanger) of Laval, QC, Jacqueline of Guelph, ON, Diane (Mark Morris) of Cumberland (ON); and five grand children and several nephews and nieces. She was pre-deceased by a son Raymond.
Mrs. Dugas worked as a Registered Nurse at the Bathurst hospital for more than 25 years.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 17 at 4:00 p.m. from the St. Rosaire Church, St. Peters Avenue, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery immediately following the celebration.
