Rebecca Prisk, 78, of Pabineau First Nation died the morning of June 9, 2007 at the Dalhousie Nursing Home. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Windsor) Prisk. She was pre-deceased by her brother Hector B. Prisk in 1983. She was an elected band councilor from 1972 to 1980. She is survived by one niece; Sherry L. Bishop and her children; Kyrsten, Kelsey and Quentin Bishop. The body will rest after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday (June 13, 2007) at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Church services will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2007 at St. Theresa Parish, South Bathurst, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the parish cemetery in South Bathurst. Gathering of family and friends to follow at the Pabineau First Nation Community Center.
