Bathurst - Henry White, 78, formerly of Parkside Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (June 19, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the dear son of the late Arthur and Regina (Doucet) White.
Henry was employed for many years with BF Goodrich and Firestone Tire Ltd. before he established Henry White Insurance (1979). Henry contributed completely to the community of Bathurst where he was a Veteran and member for 40 years of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, as well as a regular member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Colombus Council 1935. He was also involved in the past with the UCT Council 827, Bathurst Lions Club and the North Shore Regiment.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Steven (Kim) both of Bathurst
Douglas (Rose) of Athens, Greece.
Grandfather of Andrew, Ashley, Kimberly, Ryan, Brandy, Erin, Lauren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a daughter; Martha, and a sister Marjorie Davis.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (June 25, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, King Ave. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciate by the family. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
