Maurice LaBossière of Bathurst, formerly of Montréal passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the age of 91. Born in Montréal, he was the son of the late Albert LaBossière and Maria St-Jean. He is survived by: His wife Grace Thériault; 3 step-daughters: Doris Calvert (John), of Barry, ON; Louise Chiasson (Daniel), of Port Stanley, ON; Anne Marie Cook (Keith), of Barry, ON; 3 Step grandchildren: Brad and Jane Calvert, and Amanda Cook; Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Léonie Gionet; one brother, Jean; two sisters, Françoise and Madelaine. He was the last surviving member of his family. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 9 AM until time of funeral. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM, on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial will be in the Holy Family parish cemetery.
