Salmon Beach, NB - Arthur M. Young, 75, of Salmon Beach, NB, passed away on Saturday (August 11, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Robert M. and Eva (Mean) Young.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the Royal Canadian Army. He was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, past president of the Sioux Lookout Legion, member of the Hiram Lodge, Masonic Order in Fredericton, enthusiastic member of the Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club. He worked in various capacities during his lifetime including; Insurance, Camp Ground Owner and Tourism Outfitter. He enjoyed traveling in his R.V. and was an excellent host, par none!
He is survived by his wife; Jean (Fallon) (Cooper) Young.

He was pre-deceased by a brother; Ernest J. Young.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon (August 14, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the United Cemetery, Ste Anne St., Bathurst. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to a charity of the donors choice.
