Bathurst - Mrs. Martha Roy, 78, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst and formerly of Beresford, died Sunday (January 4, 2004) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes after a lengthy illness. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aline (Aubé) Hadley. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albanie Roy, in1999. She is survived by: 5 Daughters: Aurelie Turbide (Wilmond) of Bathurst Carmel Craig (Ray) of Orleans, ON Doris Roy of Shediac Bridge, NB Anita Hickey (Wayne) of Beresford Helene 'Claire' Allain (Vincent) of Beresford 2 sons: Leo Roy (Nicole) of Dunlop Guy Roy (Marianne) of Truro, NS 16 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 1 Brother: Alward Hadley of Dunlop 4 Sisters: Anita Kenny, Gloria Frenette (Gregoire) and Lillian Bowes, all of Bathurst Viola Cormier (Gilles) of Beresford Sister-in-law: Adrienne Hadley Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a infant twin brother; Martin, sisters; Olive, Doris, Patrina and brother Donald. The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Héritage Funeral Home, Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday evening (January 7, 2003) at 7:00 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise St. Nom de Jesus), Beresford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visitation are on Tuesday 7 - 9 and Wednesday 2 - 4 and 6 till time of Funeral.
