Bathurst - Mrs. Martha Roy, 87, of Raymond Ave., Bathurst, wife of the late Richard T. Roy, died Saturday (January 10, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Comeau) Haché. She was a member Lady's Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Richard T. Roy, in 1992. She is survived by: 2 Sons: George Roy (Yvette) and Richard Roy Jr. (Dianne), both of Bathurst 6 Brothers: Omer Haché (Patricia) of Nicolas Denys Theodore Haché of Petit-Rocher Léonel Haché (Cécile) of Burlington, ON Napoleon Haché of Scarborough, ON John Haché (Beatrice) of Robertville Armand Haché of Free Grant 3 Sisters: Emelia Roy of Bathurst Dorine Banks (Ray) of Toronto, ON Geraldine Comeau of Free Grant, NB 5 Grandchildren; Marc, Louise, Daniel, Donald, Lisa and one great-grandson; Jason. Several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (January 14, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
