Bathurst- Mrs. Josephine Arseneau, of Lakeville, NB and formerly of Bathurst, NB passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday 2 February 2004 after a short illness at the age of 79. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late John Sr. and the late Mary B. (Melanson) Furlotte. Mrs. Josephine Arseneau was pre-deceased by her 1st husband Leonard Theriault and her second husband Andrew Arseneau. She is survived by: 1 daughter, Linda 'Lou' (Henry) Dunnett of Lakeville, NB 1 step-son, Edwin Arseneau (Rachel) of Bathurst, NB 3 step-daughters, Beverley Daigle (Reginald) Sandra Godin (Albanie) Linda Doucet (Sylvio), all of Bathurst 2 sisters, Celia Roberts (Dave) Jeannie Arseneau (Randolph), both of Bathurst 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was also pre-deceased by 2 brothers; Percy and John jr.; and 2 sisters Gertrude and Ruth. The body is resting at Elhatton funeral home St. George St., Bathurst, NB. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 5 February, 2004 at 11:00 am from St. Theresa Church, King Ave., Bathurst. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.
