Smyth, Jean Lillian - 77, of Victoria Ave, Bathurst, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Quebéc, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice (West) Bourgaize. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and also worked as a homemaker for the Red Cross. She is survived by: 2 daughters: Sonja Smyth; Shelby Smyth (Gary Doucet); 3 sisters: Eileen Roberts, Marion Langlois and Opal Ringer; 3 brothers: Weston (Betty) Bourgaize , Elwood (Elaine) Bourgaize, and Merrill Bourgaize; Many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by: A brother Robert and infant sister, Evelyn. A funeral service for Jean will be held 2 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave., burial will be in the St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery.
