Beresford - Mme Mariette Gallant, 69, of Dunlop, died Thursday (February 12, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Rimouski, Que., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Leda (Brisson) Boucher. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Beside her husband, Marcel Gallant, she is survived by: 1 Son: Gilles Gallant of Thunder Bay, ON 5 Daughters: Claire Thériault (Gaetan) of Grand Sault, NB Diane Gallant of Moncton Noella McFarling (Mike) of North Bay, ON Gisèle Boudreau (Kenneth) of Beresford Lise Gallant of Moncton 4 Grandchildren; Louise, Paul, Patrick, Chantal, 1 great-granddaughter; Josée, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (February 17, 20004) at 4:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise St. Nom de Jesus), Beresford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford.
