Bathurst - Daniel Pitre, 53, of the Melanson Home, St. Patrick St., Bathurst and formerly of Beresford, passed away suddenly on Monday (November 24, 2008) on arrival at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Louis and Irene (Frenettte) Pitre. Besides his parents of Beresford, he is survived by: Three sisters: Linda Pitre (Gary) of Dunlop Carole Lagacé of Beresford Muriel Pitre of Dieppe 1 nephew; Jonathan, 2 nieces; Céline and Annie, several uncles, aunts and cousins. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Héritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (November 27, 2008) at 4:30 p.m. from Eglise St Nom de Jesus, Beresford. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral. Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
